This a wargaming place were you can see a growing collection of miniatures and terrain of many historical periods in 20mm (but also a few 10mm,15mm and 28mm) started when I was 10 yo. At the moment it has several tens of thousands of miniatures from foot figures to Destroyers. Occasionally there are some war movie critics and some travel to military sites. My family considers it the best wargaming site in the World even if it is the only one they know. More on @joaopeixoto5249 YouTube Channel.

Rapid Fire! 1/72nd scale LCT 4, Normandy Landings, 6 June 1944
These LCT 4 are made in the usual balsa wood, Evergreen and in fact in every material that can be used to this purpose, from Lego parts to small bracelets and necklesses, wire, etc.
The crew are Airfix and many other converted figures.
The Sherman Crab are Airfix and resin/metal Britannia, the dozers are scratchbuilt and Churchill AVRE are from Matchbox and Britannia.
The three LCT 4 were made in diferent times in a space of 1 or 2 years and the first one served as a "mould" to the next ones in terms of measurements.
My feet for scale.

28mm AOE Casualty Markers Waterloo 1815
This Landwehr casualty markers are Irregular Miniatures napoleonic casualties. There is added Greenstuff to produce the lower part of the Litewka and rolled blankets.
Prussian line casualty markers, again Irregular Miniatures, with some added Green Stuff.
Perry Miniatures plastic casualty markers that are inside the heavy cavalry box. Some have different head gear and one of them is a Irregular Miniature figure.
Same with the british.

28mm AOE Middle Guard Chasseurs Waterloo 1815
Let me stress this: i´m not taking lousy pictures to my fantastic figures and models for you - the "followers"- to leave two ENTIRE posts without a single comment. No faithful follower do what you have been doing, neglecting your duty, men or women must rise as one and shout: extraordinary work and such.
Yes, my 1st follower was a woman (<3) but all She and He for me are the same. No prejudice, I love you all, well, some more than others Ok, so lets start writing comments on the previous posts and don´t forget the next ones.
Now that you all ran to the previous posts, and wrote avidly your comment, here it is the French Middle Guard Chasseurs.
It´s the usual mix of the three main brands of 28mm plastics, were pieces are mixed all together and easily glued and carved as only this material enables.
The guidons and uniforms are taken from the fantastic mont-saint-jean website http://centjours.mont-saint-jean.com/. You don´t need more than this to paint your Waterloo armies.

28mm AOE Middle Guard Grenadiers Waterloo 1815
Now for the last week´s painted Middle Guard Grenadiers. Its a mixture of Hat, Victrix and Perry bodies and headgear- bicornes, bonnets, etc.
The Middle Guard didn´t seem to have carried eagles but only tricolor fanions, one in each company.
Victrix metal colonel transformed into Guard General with the Greenstuff aid.
The closer general is a Irregular Miniatures with some Greenstuff added to the bicorne.
Some of the coated guardsmen are Perry fusiliers. I made two cuts (L shape) at their shoulders and pluggled those surplus Victrix epaulettes. Easy and "efficace".
The Middle guard advance on Mont-Saint-Jean in their square anti-cavalry formation. Good luck for them as we know they didn´t have it...

28mm French 7th Hussars Waterloo 1815
I like to imagine de Co figure as Baron the Marbot, the same that was present and described in detail the Bussaco campaign and battle, just some km from my hometown, Coimbra. He actually commanded the 7th Hussars at the Waterloo campaign, 5 years later, and kept leaving some fantastic accounts of the napoleonic campaigns.
All figures are Perry plastic miniatures, straight from the box.

Rapid Fire! LRDG
After seeing some beautifully painted LRDG in the Rapid Fire! FB and after the release of Altaya's LRDG Chevrolets, I just had to have a small force of those. Reading about the Barce raid inspired me to make three chevies and 3 jeeps (yes, yes too many jeeps, only one was necessary in RF terms...).
The Altaya Chevrolets were repainted as I attached too many figures, stowage and weapons that needed drilling and glueing.
The arab headdress was made with GreenStuff, as well as most of the interior stowage.
Monty (Matchbox) itself gave a hand as he is seated with legs borrowed from a Preiser german figure, the one that is playing cards.
The binoculars figure is the body of the Matchbox Humber figure and the legs of the Esci 25prd seated gunner.
The striking Pink scheme, useful for the morning and late day.
All figure came out of the spare boxes, and included the Airfix Jeep driver; Esci commandos and Hasegawa tank crew.

28mm LOTR Minas Tirith
And now for Minas Tirith. It was mainly made in heavy card and the usual styrofoam. This piece are in fact some 20 pieces, and the final result is this one.
The parts are separate for easy storage and space. One of this days I will show you my Osgiliath, but it still has to be built.
Not as many levels as in the movie. Just trying to pick the flavour of the movie´s model and, one day, wargaming it.
Kinder Eggs are good for eating and modelling.
My kid still must be thinking: " were is my cowboy´s tree?".
I built eleven of the formidable trebuchets Minas tirith was defended by. Seven are GW (glups!).
